Weight Watchers Day 5

At this point I believe that I used all of my flex points (and probably some more) this weekend.  I went to a party Friday night and didn't keep track and then we had "game day food" yesterday.  I know I should've planned ahead, but I didn't... well a lesson learned.  I believe we are going to try to plan our meals ahead from now on.   Like I know i am going to greek fest for lunch today so I had a healthy breakfast.

So I signed up to go to weight watchers tomorrow at 10 am.
I am doing the fruit and veggie thing only starting today for 3 days.

Ok, I didn't know it was possible to feel full and hungry at the same time. I couldn't finish my lunch b/c I felt like I couldn't eat another bite but at the same time, I am hungry.

I was feeling like crap so I added some tortellini to my soup & had a grilled cheese sand.

Confession & New Page

Ok, so I got really discouraged the other day (as you could see) and I ate like a pig this weekend b/c I was frustrated.

I didn't work out this morning (I had to take Gen to the doc). I will be working out again this week & I think I am going to start weight watchers (which seems to be a popular solution).

Just wanted to update ya'll. I will post again soon.... and actually start blogging my food again. I think there is a WW meeting on Wednesday that I am going to try and make.

9-17-08

So I was sick a lot last week and neglected to keep track of my eating... and let me just say that it wasn't a good week for my diet. I will say that I did stick to drinking water, which is good... but right now I am so frustrated I feel like throwing in the towel on this whole weight loss thing. I feel like maybe I am just destined to be fat. I have been working out at least 3x's a week since July & (although I haven't done a great job at dieting) I have made some changes to my diet. I feel like all of this should amount to something. I know that I have lost some inches in my extremities, but my pants fit exactly the same and i haven't lost one pound. I am really beginning to think it is my birth control keeping me down, but at this point I am just so frustrated I feel like throwing in the towel.

I was going to start the week 2 challenge of beach bodz today, but I realized I am going out of town tomorrow and I will be eating what ever my host makes me... so I will start week 2 on Monday... until then, I will focus on eating my daily requirement of fruits and veggies while I continue to drink my water.

Then I will do that veggie & fruit only diet for 3 days (as suggested by Phillip)... if that doesn't help change my dimensions on my body... nothing will. I am going to get an appt w/ my doc and try to change my BC.... I am just so fed up with being fat and having people look down on me for being fat (trust me it happens)... this just sucks... sorry for the negative attitude.

9-12-08

I am still sick and I was even feeling worse this morning. But I had to get to work today. I did not work out this morning b/c I didn't feel well... I am pretty sure it is just a bad cold, but I hate that I am not getting my exercise. I put on a pair of pants today I haven't worn in a while, and they fit a little better... yeah. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow... I canceled my plans this evening (I don't want to get anyone sick) an hopefully it will help me get better faster.

I have a cold and don't feel too well.

We ordered in b/c I was sick and my hubby didn't get home until pretty late...

Minestrone soup (I felt sooooo much better after the soup)
And a small amount of chicken tortilini florentine w/ pink sauch (mix alfredo & marinara)
i mead a small amount... I was pretty full after the soup

H2O- I didn't really keep track of my H2O well today... I spent most of the day on the couch. other than the 1 glass of milk and the am coke.... I only drank H2O the rest of the day.

9-10-08 (Starting Beach Bodz Nutrition Plan)

I am starting Beach Bodz Nutrition Plan today, but I am allowing myself one exception, which is just to start w/ I can have 1 caffeinated drink a day b/c I get serious withdrawal symptoms... once I have done that for a while I will eliminate it completely.

Week 1 of Beach Bodz Nutrition Plan
According to the nutrition plan i need to drink 1/2 oz of H2O per lb of weight, well for me that would be 140 oz or 17 glasses of water. I don't think that is a reasonable goal.... so I am going to shoot for 10 or more... sorry philip if you are reading this, but i am a pretty large person.

THis is the worst thing in the world that I do when I don't feel well and I am hungry... I heat up angel hair pasta and melt American cheese on it and eat it.... i think it is yummy, but I am pretty sure I shouldn't be eating this much pasta (especially at night)

Total H20 Consumed: 82 oz which is more than 10 glasses of H2O.... I will shoot for more tomorrow.

No work out this morning... didn't have time... however, I did frantically clean my daughters rooms which made me break a sweat.. hehe... and then I steamed cleaned the carpet.... my kids were at gradma's this morning and it was like the only opportunity I would have to steam clean their carpets. I may go walking w/ hubby tonight.

So looking back over my diet over the last couple of weeks, I can see improvement. I still have some issues, but I haven't been to bojangles for breakfast in over a week (although I think leftover chinese for breakfast this saturday was both gross and unhealthy) but at any rate... I am so proud that I have avoided bojangles.

My Mommy meet-up group met at TCBY for Waffle Cone Wednesday. The Waffle Cone filled with frozen yogurt was only 99 cents... wow... so I took the girls to get some... of course I couldn't totally pass it up myself.... so I had a kids cup of cookies & cream yogurt.

We got home from the meet-up a little too late for me to cook anything so I had leftover chicken marsala w/ one serving of egg noodles.

For Real

Ok, so I was just getting really discouraged b/c I haven't lost any weight.... apparently over the last 2 months of working out, I have lost 3" off my thighs; 1 1/2" off my arms, 1" off my hips... etc.
So, I am happy w/ that... but I havent' lost any on my belly, in fact, I feel like my tummy is larger.... so I was just really upset and kinda gave up this weekend..... but after a pep talk from my family, I am back on track..... Please forgive my emotional roller coaster... I just really want to lose weight and get frustrated when I don't lose it where I need to the most.

We were in a hurry so I got the kids dinner at McDonalds
I was hungry too so I got a chicken snack wrap and ate some of their fries

All in all, I would say not too bad, except for the McDonalds binge
